The group discussed the Human Capital development strategy of the Ministry of Economics and AmCham response on it, as well as the next steps to submit recommendations to amend the Labor Law. Representatives from FICIL also joined the discussion with their comments on Human Capital Strategy, their working group priorities and how we can align our efforts. Among other topics of discussion were the use of English as a working language in Latvia and difficulties in opening a bank account for foreign employees.
