Vaccination Guide for Employers

Oct 05, 2021

An emergency situation has been declared in Latvia from October 11 this year to January 11 next year in order to stop the rapid increase in morbidity. Companies still have the opportunity to sign up for staff collective vaccination against COVID-19. In parallel with individual vaccination, employers can organize collective vaccination of the employees who want to get vaccinated.

Steps of action:

  • Employers apply for vaccination by submitting an application of employees HERE. Note that only persons who have given consent to the processing of their personal data for the purposes of vaccination can be included in the list.
  • Employers contact preferred vaccination provider to agree on the date and time HERE

Vaccination can take place at the vaccination facility or at the business address if employers can ensure a group of 25 or more employees.

In March AmCham held a session about the COVID-19 vaccines with Professor Kaspars Tars, Senior Researcher at the Biomedical Research and Study Center of Latvia on various vaccine types and their efficacy. The presentation is available via this link
