US Senate approves Trade Promotion Authority
The US Senate passed legislation granting Trade Promotion Authority ("fast-track") to the US President. Many business organizations, including the US Chamber and AmChams in Europe believe the legislation is critical to the success of Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) agreements.

Modest level of trust in NGOs, research finds
As a result of Corporate-NGO partnership seminar held in December 2014, the research on Corporate Social Responsibility and civil society in Latvia was conducted by Roger A. Ritvo, Ph.D. and Anna Feldmane from Riga Business School. The research shows that Corporate-NGO partnerships are continuing to develop, however, the majority of respondents have a modest level of trust in NGOs.
