As of June Inese Taurina has taken on the duties of Manager of the the Alliance Against Corruption in Latvia implemented by Transparency International Latvia (DELNA). Ms. Taurina was the Board Member of DELNA for more than two years (2017-2019) and has been a member of DELNA since 2011. The Alliance organizes various activities and events to raise awareness of the negative effects of corruption on societal development and to encourage individuals to report instances of corruption.Read all >

On October 11, the Saeima took an important step towards strengthening of whistleblower protection by adopting the Law on Whistleblower Protection. AmCham strongly supported the new regulation believing it would benefit both businesses and public interests, and help promote a healthy corporate culture of accountability and integrity.
