The 6th Annual Human Development Awards Ceremony was held on September 19 at the Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga with a festive dinner with participation of HDA winners, nominators, our partners and other high-level officials and professionals such as Paul Poletes, Deputy Chief of Mission of the US Embassy in Riga, Ramona Petravica, the Minister of Welfare and others.

The Award was presented in four categories including:

The Human Development Award is presented to honor inspiring people, organizations and companies of Latvia who voluntary contribute their time, work and effort for the society growth and development.

Winners received sculpture "Sprout" designed by artist Olga Silova, recognition and promotion of their initiative. 

The Human Development Award was hosted by AmCham Latvia, the Civic Alliance of Latvia and the U.S. Embassy in Latvia.
