Challenge accepted, Rūķi and many more supported by PwC

Dec 08, 2017
PwC takes an active part in socially responsible events and supports financial aid projects.

Charity program "Rūķi" during Christmas is a special time for employees to prepare presents for large families on low incomes in Latgale. Each employee had an opportunity to choose their own family. Together they have made 53 gifts, including new sports shoes, gas cookers, clothes, toys, sports equipment, and more.

Project initiated by PwC employees "Challenge accepted", where each month they explored new, rarely known kinds of sports. All funds, received for the contributions paid during those classes were donated to the Vaivari Primary School, which is inclusive school and in which both mainstream and special educational programs are being realized. That school has not only the function of education but also takes part in social integration projects to inform the local society.

PwC also supports The Green Technology Incubator, Blind Art and Go Beyond.
