AmCham sends out position letter on Labor Law

As a result of a productive Labor Force working group meeting AmCham Latvia sent out a position letter to the state officials pointing out the necessity to push forward amendments to the Labor Law.

On November 28 AmCham held a lively discussion on State and Municipality Owned Enterprises at SSE Riga with a purpose to prepare a position letter to be sent to state officials.

During the Thanksgiving Dinner inspirational people and winners of the Human Development Award 2017 were announced: association "Integration for Society", Vita Kalina, Head of psychology Center LINA, association "For Latvian Children with Disabilities" and Swedbank Latvia. EUR 2615 were raised for Foster Families, Care Mobile and SOS Children's Villages.
