Baltic Sea League needs support

Latvian Federation of American football is looking for sponsorship for the international tournament Baltic Sea League 2016. The 2016 season will offer many entertaining events and more than 15 breathtaking football games at international locations from Northern to Eastern Europe.

Santa is coming to town

From 21 to 23 December "Christmas caravan" was touring Latvian cities, which was a joint charity project of the Latvian Olympic Committee and Coca-Cola HBC Latvia that inspired everyone to turn to an active lifestyle, to prepare sports equipment and to create better conditions for physical activities in schools.

Warm child's heart!

You can warm children's hearts by donating to families of SOS Children's Villages. The goal of donation campaign "Warm child's heart!" is to collect funds for 140 families of SOS Children's Villages families.

EUR 1800 raised in 2015

The true spirit of Christmas is a spirit of giving. AmCham kicked off the holiday season with its Annual Christmas party and charity raffle. This year together we have raised EUR 1800 for our principal charities: Latvian Foster Family Association, RMHC Latvija's Care Mobile and SOS Children's Villages in Latvia. As a result many children in Latvia will be able to receive free healthcare services and a family-based support.

875 exams and 21877 smiles for children

By tradition in November, McDonald's was celebrating McHappy Day, a nationwide fundraising event. This year EUR 21,877 were raised for the Care Mobile program which will ensure 875 free medical exams for Latvia's children. Throughout the year McDonald's donates 2 Euro cents from each Happy Meal to Care Mobile.

KPMG brings joy to children

KPMG Baltics continues its charity work for the Rauda Boarding School for children with special needs for the third consecutive year. During Christmas time employees of KPMG brought joy to children by creating stylized Christmas tree and preparing personal gifts.

Cemex has announced that its operations in Latvia earned prestigious Golden Helmet Award for their outstanding health and safety practices and Green Excellence Award for taking care of environmental protection on the highest level.

AmCham moves!

AmCham has moved to the new premises at Dzirnavu 74/76-55 as of December 15, 2015. We will be delighted to host a housewarming event on January 28 at 18:00!

Over 90 guests enjoyed the premiere of Johann Strauss' operetta "Die Fledermaus" at the Latvian National Opera on December 10. They also had an exclusive networking opportunity during the reception and intermissions.

Valmieras stikla sķiedra receives Green Excellence Award

Recently, JSC Valmieras stikla šķiedra received the award of State Environmental Service "Green Excellence Award" as one of the Latvian companies, which takes care of environmental protection on the highest level and also on its own initiative carried out a set of measures to reduce the environmental impact.
