Welcome to our semi-annual CSR Report!  As is our custom, every December we look at the social and environmental impact of our member companies.

This year has been especially challenging - first coming out of the pandemic, now the war in Ukraine. Unfortunately, the people caught in the ongoing war cannot enjoy the holiday season as the continued conflict is causing extreme harm and suffering. We thank every member - both companies and individuals - who have delivered humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Along with 25 AmChams in the region, we jointly raised €40 000 to support AmCham Ukraine's team and AmCham Latvia participated with a donation of €2000.

Meanwhile, local charities also need your support to carry on with their activities. In order to review and improve the current donation policy and incentives in Latvia that would encourage a culture of philanthropy, AmCham is looking for your feedback. Please let us know if you would like to offer your ideas for this purpose.

Thanks to our members' donations, we collected over €4300 for our charities in 2022. We invite you to reach out and support any or all of our principal charities: Bezvests.lv, Children's Hospital Foundation, Latvian Foster Family Association, RMHC Latvija, Pink Train Foundation and SOS Children's Villages.

Keep us posted in order to strengthen our social impact ecosystem!
